About this service
Updated October 2026
Adelaide Hills Blocked Drains is a local referral service for the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. It does one thing: when you have a drain problem, it puts you in touch with a licensed local drain plumber who works your suburb.
How it works
You send the quote form with your suburb and a line about what the drain is doing. Your details go to a licensed plumber who services your area, and they call you back with a price. Quotes are free, there is no obligation, and you deal with the plumber directly from there.
Why it exists
Finding a good drain plumber at short notice usually means calling around while water rises, and in the Hills it also means finding someone who will actually come up the freeway. This site shortcuts that. The content here is written to help you understand what is wrong, what fixing it involves and what it should roughly cost, so you can judge the quote you get.
It is also written for a region that is not all on mains sewer. Advice that assumes a sewer connection is no use on a block with a septic tank or a council CWMS connection, so the pages here deal with all three.
What is covered and what is not
The plumbers referred through this site clear and repair blocked drains, including the drain lines running to and from septic tanks and CWMS connections. Pumping out or desludging a septic tank is a separate trade handled by a liquid waste contractor, and so is the design and installation of a new wastewater system. If that is what you need, a plumber will tell you rather than waste your time.
The fine print, plainly
Adelaide Hills Blocked Drains is not a plumbing business and does not carry out plumbing work. Plumbing work in South Australia must be carried out by a plumber licensed through Consumer and Business Services, and every job referred through this site goes to one. Price ranges published here are a guide based on typical South Australian rates, and the plumber's own quote is the price that counts.
